1. Personal Information
The term "personal information" refers to "personal information" as defined in the Personal Information Protection Act and means information relating to a living individual, including information that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or other descriptions contained in such information. It also includes data related to physical appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and information that can identify a specific individual from the information alone, such as the insurer number on a health insurance card (personally identifiable information).

3. Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information

4. Changes to the Purpose of Use
We shall change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized that the new purpose is related to the purpose before the change. 5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
We shall not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the customer, except in the following cases. However, this excludes cases permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.
- When it is necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.
- When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, local government, or a person entrusted by them to perform duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the individual’s consent may hinder the performance of such duties.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the following cases do not constitute the provision of personal information to third parties:
- When we entrust all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
- When personal information is provided as a result of business succession due to a merger or other reasons.
- When personal information is jointly used with a specific party, and the individual is notified in advance or placed in a position where they can easily know the items of personal information to be jointly used, the scope of joint users, the purpose of use by the users, and the name or title of the person responsible for managing the personal information.
6. Disclosure of Personal Information
When we are requested by the individual to disclose personal information, it shall promptly disclose it to the individual without delay. However, we may choose not to disclose all or part of the information if disclosure falls under any of the following cases, and if a decision is made not to disclose, the individual will be promptly notified of that decision.
- When disclosure may harm the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information, such as history information and characteristic information, will not, in principle, be disclosed.
7. Correction and Deletion of Personal Information
If a customer’s personal information held by us is incorrect, the customer may request the correction, addition, or deletion of the personal information (hereinafter referred to as "Correction, etc.") by following the procedures specified by us.
If we determine that it is necessary to respond to such a request, it shall promptly make the Correction, etc., to the relevant personal information without delay.
When we have made the Correction, etc., based on the preceding provision or has decided not to make such Correction, etc., it shall promptly notify the customer of this decision.
8. Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.
If we are requested by an individual to suspend or delete the use of personal information (hereinafter referred to as "Suspension of Use, etc.") on the grounds that the information is being handled beyond the scope of the intended use or that it was obtained by improper means, we shall promptly conduct the necessary investigation.
Based on the results of the investigation, if we determine that it is necessary to respond to the request, it shall promptly carry out the Suspension of Use, etc., of the relevant personal information.
When we have carried out the Suspension of Use, etc., or has decided not to do so based on the preceding provision, it shall promptly notify the individual of this decision.
Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if the Suspension of Use, etc., requires a large amount of cost or is otherwise difficult to implement, and if alternative measures can be taken to protect the rights and interests of the customer, we shall take those alternative measures.
9. Changes to Privacy Policy
The contents of this policy may be changed without notifying the customer, except as otherwise provided by laws or regulations or explicitly stated in this policy.
Unless otherwise specified by us, the revised privacy policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
